My daughter Kaya started taking lessons at the end of 2011 and I have been amazed how quickly she has learned to play and read music. Four months later, she performed wonderfully in her first recital and soon after had the ambition to play in her school's talent show.
Kaya's success in piano is due to Geraldine's teaching method. She is always encouraging, praising Kaya's efforts and staying positive on areas where there is work to be done. She always keeps the lesson goal fun and enjoyable.
Geraldine also challenges Kaya by choosing activities and pieces of music that interest her but also teach new skills that build upon one another.
I would highly recommend Geraldine to anyone, adult or child, who is interested in learning how to play the piano, learning to read music, or to learn about music. Geraldine is a woman who lives music in every part of her life and shares that breadth of knowledge and experience with everyone she meets; we've all been very fortunate to have found her.

I have known Geraldine Boles for many years. My daughter, Ashley, has been a student of her's since she was five years old. She just completed her senior recital in June, 2013.
When Ashley was younger, I sat in on the lessons upon Geraldine's request. I could see right away that Geraldine and her studio provided the nurturing environment that was suitable for young children. Eventually piano lesson days became Ashley's favorite day of the week, as well as mine.
As Ashley grew into her teen years, Geraldine let Ashley progress at her own pace, as she was very busy with academics and athletics. This allowed Ashley to keep up with her artistic ability without much stress. I am happy to say Ashley played beautifully in her final recital, and I attribute much of her success to Geraldine's hard work and dedication.
In the years I have known Geraldine, she has devoted all her time and energy to teaching piano. She works very hard to accommodate her students. She has always been very positive with Ashley. We have never experienced an unhappy moment in her studio or at recitals. Geraldine Boles is a fabulous piano instructor and mentor to children and adults alike.
Geraldineholds a Bachelor of Music degree in performance from The New England Conservatory of Music. Prior to that she completed the piano curriculum at the Royal Irish Academy of Music and Leinster School of Music and Drama in her native Ireland. Geraldine is a fully-certified Suzuki Piano Method instructor, having studied and trained in the United States and Canada. For more than 26 years she has been a private instructor of the Suzuki method and traditional piano pedagogy. Additionally, Geraldine is the piano teacher for The Sandwich Montessori School, church musician at Our Lady of Victory Parish in Centerville, sings in The Chatham Chorale and music director for several Cape Cod theatre performances.
Geraldine is available as an accompanist for vocalists, instrumentalists, stage performances, or as a solo pianist for private functions and special occasions.
